Prepping for the Cruise

Last full day before we can get on the boat and it started with covid tests.

First Stop, Laundromat.

While I watched the laundry very closely, Rob went to get a haircut. Rob said this place was good as soon as he saw the emblem inside!!!

I think Rob liked that I was waiting outside for him.

Toni wanted to find a Post Office and the one we found was historic and still had the old style mail boxes.

I almost got packed in with the rest of the mail.

Since we had some food that hadn't been open. Toni wanted to take the extra to a food pantry.

When dropping off the food, we saw these smaller fruit on the Palm Tree

Then it was lunch of street tacos and Guacamole.

And some of the local wildlife.

Relaxed out by the pool with Toni

Toni told be to do a FOD walkdown like my Daddy and Grampy.  I had to ask what FOD meant. It is Foreign Object Debris and is critical at runways/airports to assure there is no FOD on the runway or taxi way that could damage and aircraft. Well screws like this could cause you a flat tire. If you see something, pick it up.

More wildlife in the parking lot!

The moment of truth and the test is.........NEGATIVE!!! We are going on a cruise!

Dinner

And to bed...

...with everything on my list checked off so now I need to get some sleep since the real adventure begins tomorrow.
