Jan 23, A last sea day before Hawaii
We are getting closer to Hawaii. At noon the Captain said we were about 360 nautical miles away.
Plenty of things on the Patter and Toni was stocked with Green Apples (good in rough seas)
Toni's craft today was decorating a hat with Flowers. She said she is ready for Easter with this hat.
They had a special Pub lunch today. Fish and Chips, and Bangers and Mash were the choices.
Toni and I spent time looking for whales, dolphins, or any fish but didn't see any. Though we did get to see all the different ways the waves were breaking and even some rainbow colors.
Dinner time is always while linen, silverware just right. And each course gets new silverware. Apol and Francesco make things just right for every meal
Toni got 3 Cs tonight, the Caprese, Calamari and Cobb Salad. Rob got the Calamari and Jamaican Shrimp.
Well what better way to watch Top Gun: Maverick than on a ship at sea, under the stars and planets. Ok, it would be cooler on an aircraft carrier but this was still cook. And maybe with it a little warmer and no sprinkles! But they had blankets for us
At the beginning of the film, Jupiter was in view above the screen. I thought it was moving back in forth in the sky but realized it was us moving in the waves
Tomorrow is Honolulu! The first of two days in our 50th state, Hawaii.
